1. General Terms
By engaging the services of BuildingBlocks Construction, LLC ("BuildingBlocks," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern all work performed by BuildingBlocks, including but not limited to roofing, siding, interior remodeling, and commercial construction services.

2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided by BuildingBlocks are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Prices may change after this period due to material cost fluctuations or other market conditions. Final pricing will be confirmed in your written contract.

Our estimates include materials, labor, permits (when specified), and cleanup. Any changes to the scope of work after contract signing may result in additional charges and will require written approval from both parties.

3. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise specified in your contract, our standard payment schedule is:

30% deposit upon contract signing30% payment upon material delivery30% payment at substantial completion10% final payment upon project completion and final inspection

For projects under $2,000, we may require 50% deposit and 50% upon completion. All payments are due within 7 days of invoice date. Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge.

4. Workmanship Warranty
BuildingBlocks provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on all installation services. This warranty covers defects in installation and workmanship only. This warranty is void if:

The building or structure is modified in a way that affects the installationRepairs or modifications are made by anyone other than BuildingBlocksDamage occurs due to acts of nature, including but not limited to: hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, lightning, or fireDamage occurs due to improper maintenance or neglect

5. Manufacturer Warranties
All materials installed by BuildingBlocks carry the manufacturer's warranty. These warranties vary by product and manufacturer, typically ranging from 20-50 years for roofing materials, 25-lifetime for siding products, and 1-25 years for fixtures and other building materials.

BuildingBlocks will provide you with all manufacturer warranty documentation upon project completion. We will assist with warranty claims for manufacturing defects, but these warranties are between you and the manufacturer.

For manufacturer warranty service, we recommend contacting us first so we can help facilitate your claim with the appropriate manufacturer.

6. Project Timeline

While we strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeframe, construction projects may face delays due to weather, material availability, inspection schedules, or unforeseen circumstances. BuildingBlocks will communicate any significant delays promptly.

7. Change Orders
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in a written change order, signed by both parties. Change orders may affect project cost and timeline.

8. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your contract within 3 business days of signing for a full refund of any deposit. After this period, cancellations may result in charges for materials ordered, work completed, and administrative costs.

9. Property Access and Preparation
You agree to provide reasonable access to your property during normal business hours (7 AM - 7 PM, Monday through Saturday) for the duration of the project. You are responsible for removing personal items from work areas and ensuring clear access to all work locations.

10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through mediation in accordance with Michigan law.Divider
